The PerpDex smart contracts written in Vyper for EVM compatibility have successfully undergone a comprehensive security audit. This audit was conducted by Thesis Defense and Sherlock, respected security firms specializing in blockchain technology.

Key points from the audit:

  1. The audit covered Velar's Vyper Smart Contracts designed for the Bitlayer and BOB.

  2. Critical security issues were identified and promptly addressed.

  3. The audit process examined every aspect of the smart contract code for potential vulnerabilities and areas of improvement.

  4. Recommendations were provided for enhancing protocol governance and implementing emergency control mechanisms.

  5. Suggestions for gas optimization and overall code quality improvements were given.

  6. Guidance on strengthening the oracle implementation was provided.

The Velar team has diligently worked to address all identified issues. Many fixes have already been implemented, while others are planned for future releases. This thorough audit process has significantly bolstered the security and reliability of the PerpDex platform on EVM-compatible chains.

We remain committed to upholding the highest standards of security and transparency in our development process.
