# Providing Liquidity

Providing liquidity to Velar's AMM pools allows you to earn trading fees. Follow these steps:

1\. Go to the liquidity section on the [Velar DApp](https://app.velar.com).

2\. Select the token pair you want to provide liquidity for.

3\. Deposit an equal value of both tokens to create your liquidity position.

4\. Receive LP tokens representing your share in the liquidity pool.<br>
